Jon Sparrman has had a career spanning all aspects of advertising design, sales promotion, branding and feature film marketing. Beginning his career in the prestigious Chicago-based advertising agency, FCB, Jon was the lead designer for such clients as Wendy's, Coca-Cola,Kraft and Oscar Mayer brands, producing many award-winning campaigns inthe print and broadcast mediums.
Moving his talent to the West Coast, Jon secured a position at WarnerBros Pictures, heading up the print design team at the in-house agency, "The Idea Place." As VP/Creative Director at Warner Bros., Jon's clients included Domestic and International Feature Film Advertising, WB Games, DCComics, Domestic Cable Distribution, Warner Bros. Television, Consumer Products and Home Video. Jon's team developed marketing campaigns from the studio's most highly successful projects, including the blockbuster "Harry Potter" franchise films as well as small budget films like the Academy-Award winning documentary "Into the Arms of Strangers."
Departing Warner Bros. in 2005 to start "Strange Cargo," a communications company specializing in film and brand advertising, Jon continues working in his wide range of experience in both advertising and film marketing worlds. Clients include Walt Disney Pictures, 20th Century Fox, SonyPictures, Universal Pictures, NASCAR, NBC, Pepsi Brands, Tyco, BerkleyBrands, Blu-Ray, Imagi Studios, Bullpen Creative, VU Games, WB Records, Midnight Oil Creative, among many others.
