Anne Gagliardi (Madison)
I was married over 50 years to H.N. "Pete” Madison, the founder of the 475th reunion. These reunions began in 1965, the first being at the Mission Inn in Riverside, CA. After a few years these reunions became an annual event.
I have both financially and physically supported our first museum at Chino and March Air Force Base, then back to its permanent structure at Planes of Fame in Chino.
Pete passed away in the year 2000 and what we have built at Chino and the size and loyalty of the 475th family is more than he ever envisioned.
I have since remarried a widow who has actually embraced the 475th.
I am a Board member of the 475th, a lifelong member of College of the Desert Auxillary-Palm Desert, an ex-member of Stroke Activity Center, Palm Springs, a member of O'Donnell Golf Club Palm Springs and a long time member of Oakmont Country Club, Glendale, CA. My son Christopher is President of the 475th Fighter Group Historical Foundation.
