This attack by the Fifth Air Force against the main Japanese bastion in the Northern Solomon Islands was such an important victory that General H. H. Arnold sent the letter and book which follows to the parents or family of every participant in the attack.

The 475th museum has an original copy of this historical publication, and the letter signed by “Hap” Arnold in it’s archives. It has been reproduced with incredible detail, so as not to loose the impact of the pictures.
