Warren was born January 25, 1921 in LaCrosse, KS. He was a loving father and husband, a generous, hardworking, honest example for his family. He enlisted in the Army Air Force on May 23, 1942 and was a P-38 pilot in the 475th fighter group, 5th Air Force, in the Pacific Theatre. He flew 90 combat missions and accumulated over 300 combat hours. He was discharged from active duty October 5, 1945. Warren continued service in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1962.
