Roy married Ruth Jeoffroy of Perryton, Tx July 23, 1941. During the years of service in the Air Force, Roy and Ruth were stationed in La Junta, Colorado and Riverside, California. Roy served during World War II with the 475th Fighter Group in the Pacific.
